The Friendswood Lady Mustangs basketball team won Tuesday’s home conference game against Ball High Lady Tornadoes by a score of 52-40.

With the victory, Friendswood improved its record to 15-6 on their road to victory. The Mustangs travel to Crosby to confront the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 22 provocation on Friday, January 11. The Cougars come into the playoff with a record of 13-12. Crosby won 54-50 in their recent league game against Texas City.

Following up, the Tors confront the Lee Ganders in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, January 11. Ball will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Ganders come into the tournament with a 6-10 record after their 51-38 league win over Galena Park.

The Friendswood Mustangs and the Ball High Tors will have another meet at Ball High on Friday, February 1 at 6:30p.
