Tors Take Down Crosby

The Ball High Tors scored their biggest win of the season at home on Tuesday as they slipped past the Friendswood. Mustangs 45-43 to remain undefeated in district play. A last second shot by the Mustangs hit the rim and bounced away, securing the win for the Tors. Ball High improved to 4-0 in district 22-5A and 11-8 overall.

“Friendswood is such a methodical, well-disciplined team, so we knew it was going to be a tough matchup,” said Temple. “I knew it would be hard to force them into turnovers, and we were able to do so at the most important time of the game.”

Darion Henry led the Ball High scorers with 12 points. Giovanni Janke laid in seven points for the Tors, while Polzin, Nehemiah Noel and Terry Webb each had six points. Nigel Green scored five and Deonza Yoakum contributed three points for Ball.

The Tors travel to Baytown Lee Friday.
