Over the Christmas holidays, the Ball High Tors girls’ basketball team continued with their season playing four games during the Christmas break.

In Friday’s (December 27)) match, the host Port Neches-Groves Indians basketball team scored a tight 43-40 win over the Lady Tornadoes to wind down non-district action. Earlier the same day the same day the Lady Tors hammered the Ray Texans (Corpus Christi) basketball team 57-39 in a non-league battle.

On December 28th the visiting Brazosport Exporters (13-8, 3-2) basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Ball Tornadoes to 26 in the Exporters non-league triumph on Saturday.

Saturday (December 4th) the Lake Creek Lions fans were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ball Tornadoes, 52-30 in a non-league bout.

The Lady Tors completed their non-district schedule with a record of 5-11, and after three games of district play stand 1-2.

The Lady Tors traveled to Galena Park Tuesday for a 5:45 p.m. tipoff and came home with a 45-34 win to even their district record at 2-2.

The Lady Tors take on Crosby Friday on the Ball campus; tipoff at 7 p.m.
