Tor Cross Country Teams Celebrate a Successful Season

The Tor boys’ varsity team, led by Kelly Carmichael’s second place finish, earned third place overall in the District 22-5A Cross Country meet Thursday.

Jordan Painter finished 18th, Noah Elzner completed the course right behind Painter in 19th place. C J Thames (24th) and Antony Chavez (31st) scored points for the Tors in their season finale.

The Tor girls earned fifth place at the district, led by Stephanie Hernandez’s 11th  place finish.

The JV team raced to a 2nd place finish, led by Nick Gomez (10th).

The freshmen boys, led by William (Mac) Livanec’s 2nd place finish, rounded out the Tors successful day as the runners-up in the district meet.
