Boys’ Basketball Seeking Consistency

The Tors (4-6 overall) had their fair share of ups and downs this season so far, starting the season losing against South Houston 49-42 and losing to Clear Creek 69-45.

The Tors popped back with a win (60-31) against Alvin on November 20, on November 27th, The Tors’ defeated Hitchcock, 79-61 tying their overall 2-2.

“We’re still learning how to play as a team and gel everyone together,” Ball High head coach Jerald Temple said. “Slowly, but surely, we can see in spurts what we can do. I’m hoping we can put it together for longer time periods.”

The Tors competed in a tournament on November 29th – December 1st. On the first day of the tournament Ball lost to Humble 54-53 and Terry 50-56. They only played one game on the second day of the tournament, defeating Lake Creek 50-32. On the final day of the tournament Ball barely defeated Fort Bend Clements 43-40, but was defeated by Barbers Hill 70-58.

Ball was recently defeated by Clear Springs 76-68 on December 4th
