Swim Team Leaves Competition in Their Wake

Tors Swimmers attended the FBISD Tri Meet. Out of 24 events the Tors had several swimmers place in the top three. Boys Medley came in 2nd.; Sydney Rawls and Daphne Morales placed in  200 Free; Ulises Garcia placed 2nd in 200 IM; Norixa Perez 3rd in 50 Free; Croix Murphy had an outstanding 2nd place in 50 free with a time of 27:04.

Leah White placed 3rd in 100 free; both Oliver Gault and Croix Murphy placed in top 3 for 100 free while Ulises Garcia, Sydney Rawls, and Christof Gault received 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd place in their final events.

“Captain Natalie Morales obviously did a great warm up as the kids did a fantastic job!” said assistant head coach Holly Badman

The Tor swim team has made incredible strides this year according to assistant coach Holly Badman, “The girls have shown huge improvement over the past few months and continue to grow.” Furthermore, Badman buoyantly bubbled, “The boys’ medley and relay teams came in first in their heat.A third place finish is a remarkable improvement.”
